We’re already half way through 2026, and before the year runs away with us, I want to take a look back at everything that’s taken shape at Native Space so far. New businesses have moved in. New spaces have opened. The community is the busiest it’s ever been – and there’s plenty still to come.
Three new businesses have made Native Space home since the start of 2026:
Re:Align Studios – Reformer pilates has come to Native Space. Amy Humphries, one of our Native Wellness instructors, has opened a new reformer pilates studio with us – combining strength, mobility, and flexibility all in one space.
Charity Today – The nation’s leading charity news publication. Charity Today has been using our studio for a while now, to bring you the latest news, interviews and conversations in the charity sector. Recently it made Native Space its full operational base, by taking one of the upstairs offices.
Cove – A Native Space owned salon. Considered cuts, colour and care – in a calm, light-filled space designed to feel nothing like a salon. It’s also open for chair rental, so if you’re a self-employed stylist weighing up going independent, this is worth a conversation.
It hasn’t just been new businesses. We’ve launched new spaces, new memberships, and new wellness events:
The Peterborough Art Studio – A bright, dedicated room for drawing, painting and creative work with 24/7 access. Membership starts at £59/month, inc VAT, which includes monthly podcast credits and member rates on classes and workshops. If you need a proper space to work that isn’t the kitchen table, or you just want to be around other people making things, it’s here.
Community Membership – Our old Virtual Membership, reworked and renamed. At £85+VAT/month, it now bundles in wellness access and workspace credits. Be part of the community, use the facilities when you need them, show up to events – without committing to a permanent desk.
Wellness classes – Yoga, guided meditations, sound baths, and more. The line-up rotates so there’s always something different to try, and it’s open to everyone. Small, calm, intimate sessions. Not a gym. Not a trend. Wellness centred classes, in a purposeful environment.
Native Web – Bespoke websites, designed, built and launched for independent businesses. Domain, hosting and tied to your business profile – live within 7 working days.
Alongside everything that’s landed this year, these are some of the core aspects that pull people through our doors.
The Native Space Studio – One of our main draws. Set up for product shoots, headshots, brand videos and, of course, podcasts. It’s become a real favourite for creators who want somewhere ready to go – whether you’re recording a podcast or shooting short-form content.
Meeting Room & Day Office – For the days you need to sit down with a client, give your team somewhere proper to meet, or just get out of the house.
Networking Events – We host regular events throughout the month, both hosted by us and external businesses who book in. One of the most popular is Fierce Women of Peterborough, held here every third Thursday, which always brings a large group of women business owners together to support one another.
And of course, some of our existing suite and office members –
Laser 99 – Professional laser hair removal services
Birch Phoenix Counselling – Holistic counselling dedicated to healing, growth and wellbeing
Ops Angels – Virtual Operations Management
Lips and Linez Collective – Professional beauty and aesthetic treatments
Honestly, the second half is shaping up well. More events, more wellness and pilates classes, and a few new community additions that we cannot wait to share with everyone.
A new member on the way – CC Medical Clinic is joining us upstairs. Carrie is an aesthetics nurse prescriber who works with women through perimenopause and the empty-nest years – helping them feel like themselves again. Office 2 is getting a major makeover ahead of her arrival, and we can’t wait to show you the transformation.
New unit available – Unit 2 – a 300 sq ft warehouse suite is soon to be available, and is looking for its next chapter. Whether you’re a retailer, creative or practitioner, this is the perfect opportunity to become part of a thriving hub in Peterborough.
And if the first six months are anything to go by, there’s plenty still to come.
